Northamptonshire firm provides the right outcome for the NHS

Communications and PR company Media Outcomes has just delivered an innovative new board game to the Northamptonshire Local Health Community Workforce Team.

The table top game, 'Step into the NHS', which is also available as a 3 meter floor mat, will be used by the Workforce Development Team to engage with and educate students from across the East Midlands on the varied and often overlooked career opportunities that are availabe to them within the National Health Service.

The game comes complete with animated playing counters and over-sized foam dice. When rolling the dice and landing on a square, students can pick up a question card and try to answer correctly in order to proceed with the game. The NHS facilitaor can then use these questions to evoke discussion within the group.

Dianne Panter, Workforce Development Manager for the Local Health Community Workforce Team, lef the project and has showcased the game for the first time at a 'Moving on Up' Careers Conference organised by Aimhigher. One of Dianne's roles is to promote the diversity of careers that are available within the NHS and provide relevant, up-to-date information.
